Vahini Saheb tries her to best to make Laxmibai cry and see Prachi for one last time but Laxmibai remains unmoved. Gangadhar and Aaishri too attempt to bring her out of her stupor but of no avail. Aaishri says that it was Gods will but a furious Vahini Saheb retorts that she does not believe in a God who snatched an innocent child away. Prachi is cremated, and an air of gloom descends on everyone. Bajirao and Nana Saheb attend the funeral. Gangadhar returns to Laxmibai and tells her the teachings of Lord Krishna about death. He suggests that she go and collect Prachi\'s ashes. Laxmibai visits the crematorium and vows that she would not immerse Prachi\'s ashes until she sought vengeance for Prachi\'s death.
