Motibai is hanged to death. Manu comes back to reality with a jolt. She keeps the sword back near the deity and says that she will find another way to punish Motibai but would never take her life. Samar Singh lures a jail guard with hidden treasure and seeks his help in escaping from prison. Fraser tests Lachos archery skills and warns her that if she fails to kill the king and gets caught, then she would stand to lose her son. Samar Singh dressed as an English officer overhears this.
